   • Knowledge is subjective in nature.
   • Construct new knowledge rather than acquire it from lecture or memorization.
   • Understanding is achieved through assimilation.
     • Reflects on new information and relates it to personal experiences for a deeper understanding.
   • Social constructivists.
     • Discussion and social interactionl

3. Cognitivism.

   • Focused on identifying mental processes
   • Blooms taxonomies of learning.
     • Focus on the thinking domain.
