   • To test Cherry's dichotic listening in relation to....
     • Study 1: the amount of info recognised in rejected message
     • Study 2: the effect of hearing ones own name in an unattended message
     • Study 3: identifying a specific target in rejected message

2. Sample

   • Study 1: unrecorded. Research workers of both sexes.
   • Study 2: 12 participants
   • Study 3: 28 participants (2 groups of 14)
