3. Cell Membrane Structure

   • Double layer of Phospholipids
     • Proteins floating between them
   • NOT rigid , its a FLUID structure
     • Due to the Proteins and Phospholipids always moving
   • Selectively Permeable
     • Allows some substances to pass through but not others
     • Small soluble molecules can pass through, large insoluble ones can't
