This is done though cherry, p-hacking, and QRP's

  5. 5Michael LaCourWrote a paper on how contact with gay person could change belief to a greater extent and effects over longer period of time, during the period of gay marriage legalization.
Broockman tried to reproduce it but the data was too tidy, original survey company say they never did it, there was massive difference in response rate, it would have cost over a million dollars, and fake letter. LaCour adviser retracted the artical.
  6. 6WakefieldWakefield, The Lancet claiming that triple-vaccines cause autism. He claimed it should be halted and instead replaced with single vaccines. It was later retracted by the Lancet
    Bad science included:
No evidence that single vaccination do any different (he work with a company to patient single vaccinations), did un-necessary medical procedures to children which is unethical, used children who where showing sign of autism and had selected participants, only one of kids had the autism he said it caused, and changed documents such as symptoms and timeline (some had signs of autism before the vaccine).
