Method MRI scans on 21 men with APD and 34 healthy men - all volunteers
Results 11% reduction in prefrontal grey matter in APD group compared with control group
Conclusion APD is caused by reduction in grey matter
Positive evaluation study supports the theory that APD and reduction in grey matter are linked
Negative evaluations only men used so unrepresentative of the population; only volunteers used; study didn't look at links between or deficits in other areas of the brain
