Cell Biology

Cell Biology

1. Eukaryotes

   • Cell structure
   • e.g. Animal cell. plant cell, yeast
   • has a nucleus!

2. Prokaryotes

   • no nucleus!
   • e.g. bacteria
   • Smaller than eukaryotes
   • Cell Structure
     • Eukarotes and prokaryotes: cytoplasm, cell membrane, cell wall, ribosomes
     • plasmid - ring of DNA
     • genetic material not enclosed in a nucleus
