1. Intelligence Test

   • What do they measure
   • First Test of Intelligence
     • Born with it or gained through experience

2. IQ

3. Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - based on many of Binet's principles.

4. Alfred Binet

   • Sorbonne University - Paris. Binet studied Intelligence and head size in children; not 100% method, with some discrepancies. Binet found children with large heads appeared to perform badly in school.
   • Craniometry-(shape, size) - Measuring heads; based on research, big head = big brain, thus more intelligent.
   • Binet abandoned craniometry in favour of psychometrics-(measurement e.g personality traits/mood/attitude/intelligence)
