The message of the book was to not trust everything and everyone they might not end out be who they say they are
- Devin went to what he thought was wonderful and allthe children were made to do "work"
Devin needs to get out of the home so he doesn't get stuck out on the street again.
- Devin's grandpa dies and he travels to the city he is invited to a home where they are basically brainwashing kids.
