1. Report Everything

   • include every single detail
   • trivial details may be important, may trigger important memories

2. Reinstate the context

   • return to the scene (in their mind)
   • what was it like, what could they see? ect..
   • context depending forgetting

3. Reverse the order

   • events are to repeated in a different order than chronological
   • prevents lying and telling expectation instead the truth

4. change perspective

   • recall the incident from another's perspective, eg: the perpetrator
   • this disrupts the effects of expectations and schema on recall

5. CI is time consuming compared to the standard police

6. Milne and Bull found combination of "report everything" and "context reinstatement" produced better results than all of the techniques combined
