1. Context Reinstatement

   • Recreate the environment through both contextual and state dependent cues which create a mental consistency with the incident so more details are remembered

2. Report Everything

   • Leaving no detail out no matter how trivial it seems is unrestrained recall which could bring up things that are important that otherwise wouldn't have been included

3. Recall from Changed Perspective

   • Recreating the situation from the point of view of someone else involved enables new 'routes' to be explored that could bring up important information

4. Recall in Reverse Order

   • Working backwards prevents the use of schema of what usually happens in similar situations, so what actually happened is more accessible
