  1. OF BACTERIA
    1. Antibiotics became heavily prescribed and lost effectiveness. Bacteria became more resistant to antibiotics by natural selection. Resistant ones survived, reproducing offspring
    2. OF INSECTS
      1. chemical insecticides sprayed onto crops to kill insects and reduce crop damage. It was though insects would die but was only effected for a limited time. Resistant insects survived, producing only resistant offspring
