Cards in this deck (17)
- 1What is an establishing shotA shot which establishes the setting for the scene. For example: A long shot of a building exterior, this is so we can add our stereotypes to a scene

- 3What is a 'hand-held' camera shotA shaky effect created when the cinematographer just holds the camera. Has the effect of the audience feeling as if they are ‘in’ the action.
- 4What is a 'steadicam' camera shotUsed to achieve a smooth even shot when shooting action.
- 5What is a crane shotA shot created using a large camera mounting, capable of achieving high elevations and movements.
- 6What is a tracking shotA shot in which the camera moves to follow a sequence of action, placed usually on a dolly or specially prepared tracks
- 7What is a shallow focusPart of the image is in focus while the rest is out of focus or blurred. This draws the audiences’ attention to a particular action/character.

- 15What is a low-angle shotOne where the camera is angled up onto the characters, making them look strong and powerful
- 16What is an extreme close-up?Often on a eyeball, or a throbbing temple during a fight scene, an extremely zoomed in shot on a subject
- 17what is a focus pull? When you're tracking a subject and then the camera changes focus onto tracking something else. Creates a sense of confusion and chaos
