Annotations:

• My vocation is my job as administrative assistant at Special Kids, which I am thankful for every day.  My work is being a wife, homemaker, and pet mom; developing new business ideas; and promoting and assisting with my husband's ministry.  All of those things are important to me, as they give me a sense of accomplishment and productivity. I included the word Rest here, too, because resting is a major part of working.  Without it, work cannot go on forever.

• I value my faith in Jesus, but even more, I value Jesus' faith in what He's done, that He freely gives to me through His word and His people.  Paul says in Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God..." My faith can fail, but His cannot. Here are some means by which God gives me faith.

• I love the deep relationships I've developed with my husband, my parents and brothers and sisters, my friends, and my church community.  Those connections are a main source of joy for me.

• According to the Apostle Paul, when Jesus was on the cross, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world [cosmos] to himself" (2 Cor. 5:19). God values reconciliation so much that He died for it.  I want to pursue reconciliation in all aspects of my life and to do whatever I can to spread it.
