About memory quizzes

GoConqr Original

What the memory quizzes cover

The quizzes offer questions on memory models, short-term and long-term memory, and eyewitness testimony. Working memory model asks about the people behind memory models, while STM, LTM and duration includes questions on the duration of short-term memory and how it was studied.

For a broader set of questions, Chapter 7: Memory includes an example involving a school talent show. Other quizzes focus on topics such as semantic memory, retrieval and the misinformation effect.

Plan a quiz session

Start with Multi-Store Model of Memory if you want to practise the model and its stores. After a quiz, look back at the questions you found difficult. If you need a visual overview before trying again, switch to a mind map on the Memory unit page. Flashcards there offer another way to revisit individual points.

Frequently asked questions

Which quiz could I start with?

For questions about memory stores, start with “Multi-Store Model of Memory”. It asks who created the model and how information passes between stores. If you want to focus on short-term memory instead, “STM, LTM and duration” asks about its definition and studies of its duration.

Do the quizzes cover eyewitness testimony?

Yes. The listing includes “Loftus and Palmer AO1 revision quiz”, as well as quizzes on anxiety and age in eyewitness testimony. There is also “Misinformation Effect Quiz”. These give you several topics to choose from when practising questions related to testimony and memory.
